Weekly Bias, Daily Executionone decision a week, then get out of the way
The slowest page in the book and, for most retail accounts, the most useful one. A single decision is made at the weekly close — long, short, or flat — and it does not change until the next weekly close, whatever happens in between.
The benefit is not statistical. It is that the strategy removes almost every opportunity to interfere with itself. A trader who cannot leave a position alone for four days will get more out of this structure than out of any indicator in this library.
Two timeframes are not two opinions. A daily chart and an hourly chart of the same instrument contain the same prices — the higher one is useful when it supplies something the lower one cannot see, and decorative when it only repeats it.

Exact rules
Entry
- At the weekly close: bias is long if the weekly bar closed above its EMA(20) and above the previous week's midpoint. Short at the mirror. Otherwise flat for the week.
- Entry during the week: the first daily close above the previous day's high, in the direction of the bias.
- One entry per week. Miss it and you are flat until the next weekly close — this rule is what makes the page work and it is the one people break.
- The bias does not change intraweek. Not for news, not for a sharp Tuesday reversal.
Stop loss
- Below the previous week's low for longs, minus 0.5 × ATR(14) on D1.
- A weekly-horizon trade needs a weekly-sized stop. Sizing it from a daily ATR alone is the most common way this page gets misapplied.
- Risk 0.5%–1%.
Take profit / exit
- No target during the week.
- Close at the Friday close, or roll the position if the new weekly bias agrees with it. Rolling is the version that captures multi-week trends and it is also the version that gives back more.
- Both variants are legitimate and they are different strategies. Pick one and record which you are testing.

Trading carries risk and most retail accounts lose money. Nothing on this page is financial advice or a recommendation to trade. The chart is an illustration of the rules on constructed candles — it is not a record of a trade and not a backtest.
