After Fundingthe account you keep is not the one you passed

Evidence: WeakIntermediateProp firm · Funded phase

Passing changes the objective completely. During an evaluation the goal is to reach a target once. On a funded account the goal is to produce a payout repeatedly without ever breaching a loss rule that usually still applies.

The trader who passed by pushing size to reach a target in three weeks is now in a game where the same behaviour ends the account. Most funded accounts are lost shortly after they are won, and the change of objective is the reason.

Nothing here states any firm's rules. Firms differ and they change their terms — read your own rulebook and write the numbers into the bot. Every page assumes you have done that.

Exact rules

Entry

  • Re-read the funded terms before the first trade. Drawdown measurement, payout schedule and permitted instruments all commonly differ from the evaluation.
  • Reduce per-trade risk relative to the evaluation. There is no deadline now, so the only thing that matters is not breaching.
  • Trade the same strategy you passed with. Changing it on a funded account means trading an untested method with somebody else's money and your own account fee at stake.
  • Plan the payout cycle before you start. Knowing when profit is withdrawn changes how much drawdown you are exposed to and when.

Stop loss

  • The maximum loss usually persists in the funded phase. Whether it trails, and from what, is the single most important thing to establish.
  • A trailing drawdown that follows the equity high means every winning day tightens the floor. That is a fundamentally different risk model from a static one and it requires a smaller size.
  • Set your own floor above the firm's and treat theirs as unreachable rather than as a limit to trade against.

Take profit / exit

  • Withdraw on schedule. Profit left in the account is profit exposed to the loss rule, and for most firms withdrawing does not reduce the account size.
  • Do not scale up after a good month. Scaling programmes exist at many firms and they have their own rules — use those rather than inventing your own.
  • Treat the funded account as one position in your own risk budget, not as free money. The account fee was real and the strategy risk is real.
