Strategy libraryRules you can check before you trade them.
Every strategy carries its exact rules, an annotated chart of the setup, the research behind why it should work at all — and the conditions under which you should not take it.

Surprise-Scaled Reaction
the number against the forecast, not the numberA release on its own carries no information. What moves price is the gap between what printed and what was expected — and the size of that gap, measured against how large surprises usually are for that release.

Spike Fade
when the reaction outruns the surprisePrice adjustment to a release is concentrated in the first minute. Inside that minute, orders are filled at whatever is available rather than at anything considered — which is how a small surprise produces a move the size of a large one.

Liquidity Recovery Entry
let the spread come back firstEvery other approach to a release argues about direction. This one argues about time: liquidity provision and the cost of trading return to their pre-announcement levels within roughly five to fifteen minutes of a release.

The Pre-Release Straddle
the strategy the research argues againstPlace a buy stop above the market and a sell stop below it a few minutes before a release, and let whichever way it jumps fill you. It is the first idea almost everybody has about trading news, and it is on this page because it deserves a straight answer rather than being left off the list.

The News Blackout
a gate in front of every other strategy you runThis is not a trade. It is the rule that decides when none of your other strategies are allowed to be in the market, and it belongs in this book because the same research that makes news tradeable is what makes it dangerous to everything else.

What the evidence rating means
StrongThe mechanism has peer-reviewed, FX-specific research behind it.
ModerateThe mechanism is sound, but at least one step of it is untested.
WeakPractitioner literature only — no published research supports the mechanism.
It rates the mechanism — whether there is published research explaining why the market should behave this way. It does not rate profit. Strong does not mean the trade will work. None of these have been run on our own account, and no page here shows a backtest figure.
What the level means
BeginnerOne instrument, one timeframe, every rule visible on the chart.
IntermediateSeveral conditions have to line up, and execution starts to matter.
ProfessionalNeeds an outside data feed, a basket, real order flow, or an unusual tolerance for lumpy losses.
The level describes what it takes to run the strategy, not how well it works. Several Beginner pages are better evidenced than several Professional ones — a basket carry trade is Professional because it needs eight currencies and a swap table, not because it is cleverer than buying a pullback.

Get started- A build gives you working MQL5 for the rules on the page. It does not make the strategy profitable.
- Nothing here has been run on a live account by us yet. Every card says so, and the score has a band for it that is currently zero.
- The quota resets each month and does not roll over.
Trading carries risk and most retail accounts lose money. Nothing in this library is financial advice or a recommendation to trade. The charts are illustrations of the rules on constructed candles — they are not records of trades and not backtests.
